A collective defence

Six people of different ages and backgrounds standing side by side in the half-light, lit by red and blue lights.

Fig. 01 — People are not numbers to be profiled, but individuals to be protected.

The context

We live in a time when our identity, our choices and even our voice are filtered by algorithms we do not know. Every day we share parts of ourselves with platforms that decide what we see, what remains invisible, what is remembered and what disappears.

In this digital space — immense, powerful, yet often opaque — Algopolio was born as a collective defence: a place where citizens regain awareness, rights and strength.

Our community

An independent, non-partisan, non-profit association that brings together

  1. Jurists— the law
  2. Technologists— the code
  3. Philosophers— critical thinking
  4. Artists— imagination
  5. Citizens— awareness

Different people, united by a simple and radical idea.

A simple and radical idea

The power of the algorithm cannot be worth more than human dignity.

What we fight for

We fight for a web where…

  1. 01Profiling

    people are not numbers to be profiled, but individuals to be protected;

  2. 02Automated decisions

    automated decisions are transparent;

  3. 03Platform power

    reputation, data and freedom are not at the mercy of a few global players.
